What does THAUY Althea smell like?

Top notes: Coconut and galbanum — an immediately striking and unusual opening. The coconut here is not tropical or sweet — it is warm, almost smoky, grounded by the sharp, green bitterness of galbanum that adds an herbal, almost resinous edge. This opening is unlike anything else in modern perfumery — lush yet austere, warm yet sharp.

Heart notes: Thyme, saffron and ante leather — the fragrance evolves into its most complex and powerful territory. Thyme adds an aromatic, Mediterranean herbaceousness while saffron brings golden, spiced warmth and a precious, almost ceremonial quality. Ante leather — a distinctive suede-like leather note — is the soul of the composition: smooth, warm, slightly animalic and deeply addictive. This is where Althea becomes a true skin scent that you cannot stop smelling.

Base notes: Sandalwood and cistus — a rich, resinous and beautifully long-lasting dry-down. Sandalwood is creamy and warm, adding softness and depth to the leather heart.
